Squid Game Part 2

So tonight I am focused On adding the mechanisms to the project. I have added the Squid Game Employees. I also added the trailer to Squid Games and triggers for sound.

I added a Video Player Script to the Object and added the clip which I have already added to the project Inventory.

As you can see the video plays. Now lets work on the trigger to start the sound.

I added to Empty’s to my Hierarchy . Triggers and Timers, Under Triggers I added another Empty named Sound and placed a Box Cylinder Physics to that and adjusted it to span the room so when someone walks across it it triggers whatever its set to trigger. Now we are going to add a Sinespace Proximity Script to this Object.

And Now we need to add a audio script to the square.

Now that you have it in there, you can add your audio source to this which I have not done yet but IT IMPORTANT to make sure the audio box is unchecked so that it does not play when you land but instead it plays when triggered. Ok so now lets set up that Proximity Script we added earlier. In the event you will add your Square Employee who has the audio source

Now when you walk through the collider you will trigger the sound, it does not play on landing. This will be the first speech. Now we need to add a Timer and a Trigger for the doors to open, but first I need to make the speech…LOL. we could also create a animator and add animation to trigger we can do that in a bit. I have added the sound

It Works, The Trigger does it job. Tomorrow I will add the Timers and Animation Trigger. Until Than Good Night.

Ok Let’s start out where we left off, we were adding a trigger for animation so that the square dude moves as he speaks, to do this we need to make a animation controller.

I should also mention that your rig needs to be humanoid, and the animation needs to be looped for the controller. Also your animation controller boxed should not be clicked, it will be triggered instead.

I also added another Empty under triggers and named it animations. Once the Lobby is finished I will place it all in a Empty in my Hierarchy and Name it First Challenge because there will be more added to the lobby for the second challenge, trying to keep it simple because it gets complicated.

I have placed the Soldiers In Lobby landing because they need to be deactivated after the speech and the second voice is triggered. The Money Dome was added to the first challenge because it needs to be activated after the first challenge but not before. It just keeps things a bit easier to find.

So now when you run through the trigger, you not only trigger the speech but you trigger his slight movement, you can trigger as many things as you want, if you want to put a delay before he speaks after triggered you could add a timer to this. it has been tested and works great.
